About Mashery

Mashery is growing and looking for an Inside Sales Rep who's hungry to join our team and be part of reviewing, qualifying, and processing HUNDREDS of prospects into leads for Mashery’s solution. We're the experts in web services, API infrastructure management. We're changing the way companies use, manage, and monetize their web services (API’s) and we're looking for the right Inside Sales Rep to join & be part of this growth. 

Responsibilities

• Work strategically with the Sales team in a business development, lead generation capacity.
• Research and build "cold accounts" (i.e.: adding contacts, sending emails, cold calling)
• Make 50 cold calls per day
• Comfortable and confident in positioning a ROI solution that will cost our customers more than $50,000 per year.
• Conduct high-level conversations with C and VP level Executives about the Mashery offering.
• Schedule qualified prospect meetings for Enterprise Sales Executives, meeting monthly meeting quotas.

Background/Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four year College or University
• 2+ years of previous software sales or relevant experience
• Prior lead generation or sales prospecting experience preferred although those that have a compelling pitch as to why they would be successful in this role will be strongly considered
• Salesforce.com experience a plus
• No fear attitude in cold calling
• Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
• Must be highly motivated, tenacious, and a self starter
• Dig in and be hands on in learning our product and services
• Positive attitude, ambitious, and a passion for building a valuable business
