We're the experts in web services, API infrastructure management.  We're changing the way companies use, manage, and monetize their web services (API&#8217;s) and we're looking for the right Inside Sales Rep to join &amp; be part of this growth.&#160;</p>

<ul>
    <li>Work strategically with the Sales team in a business development, lead generation capacity.</li>
    <li>Research and build "cold accounts" (i.e.: adding contacts, sending emails, cold calling)</li>
    <li>Make 50 cold calls per day</li>
    <li>Comfortable and confident in positioning a ROI solution that will cost our customers more than $50,000 per year.</li>
    <li>Conduct high-level conversations with C and VP level Executives about the Mashery offering.</li>
    <li>Schedule qualified prospect meetings for Enterprise Sales Executives, meeting monthly meeting quotas.</li>
</ul>

    <li>Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four year College or University</li>
    <li>2+ years of previous software sales or relevant experience</li>
    <li>Prior lead generation or sales prospecting experience preferred although those that have a compelling pitch as to why they would be successful in this role will be strongly considered</li>
    <li>Salesforce.com experience a plus</li>
    <li>No fear attitude in cold calling</li>
    <li>Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment</li>
    <li>Must be highly motivated, tenacious, and a self starter</li>
    <li>Dig in and be hands on in learning our product and services</li>

In this role you will get to know prospects and support the Account Executive in turning prospects into customers.&#160; You'll manage customers through implementation and continue to work with them on an account team that includes an Account Executive.&#160; You will help positively impact our prospect and customer's experience- from presales support &amp; implementation, through the life of our customers.&#160; We&#8217;re looking for someone who is highly effective at building relationships and managing priorities, tasks/schedules, all while supporting customers with the highest level of professionalism.  Someone who is technically savvy and who is that rarity that can speak the technical language yet ensure the most positive experience during customer implementations and ongoing customer support (whatever it takes).  This role is critical to the success of our customers and to Mashery.&#160; Our experience has been that the Client Services Manager becomes one of our customer&#8217;s favorite people as a result of the positive relationships they build and the expertise in product support they provide.</p>

<b>Responsibilities</b></p>
<ul>
    <li>Own, manage, and drive the full sales cycles from first contact through contract negotiation/close (some account management) while ensuring happy and referenceable customers.</li>
    <li>Dig in and be hands on in learning the product and leverage your multi-channel presentation skills through product demonstrations both in person and via web-based presentations.</li>
    <li>Achieve sales quota through identifying, qualifying, and closing business in your account territory.</li>
    <li>Maintain updated sales records and prospect status in salesforce.com.</li>
    <li>Work closely with a Sales Engineer, VP of Sales, and engineering team in forecasting and allocating resources for new prospects requests &amp; requirements.</li>
    <li>Forecast sales activity, revenue achievement, and update activity/prospect status in weekly sales meeting.</li>

<p><b>Background/Requirements</b></p>
<ul>
    <li>5+ years experience selling software or technology solutions, services, or applications and account management expertise.</li>
    <li>Strong experience building a pipeline, qualifying, and identifying deals you can close.</li>
    <li>Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales and revenue goals with consistent earnings of 175K + while carrying a <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;">minimum</span> 1.5M quota.<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande';"><br />
    </span></li>
    <li>Demonstrated strength in building and managing relationships along with presenting to a diverse audience from business champion, technical teams, to C-level executives.</li>
    <li>Demonstrated experience managing the full sales cycle from prospect, demo, contract negotiation and through close of initial deals and renewals.</li>
    <li>Successful experience selling into diverse companies including web services, enterprise or mid market accounts.</li>
    <li>Strong and demonstrated written and verbal communications skills.</li>
    <li>Previous Sales Methodology training, CRM experience, and strong account management preferred.</li>
    <li>Strong computer skills, including Sales Management systems (Salesforce.com preferred), online tools (WebEx), MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.</li>
    <li>You communicate effectively both internally and externally and adjust to a diverse audience, including C-level executives, developers, Product Managers, etc.</li>
    <li>BA/BS degree required.</li>
